Care e-learning module available in Scotland

Equal Partners in Care’s (EPiC) e-learning module is now available and covers the knowledge and skills for level 1 of the EPiC core principles: Carer Aware.

The module is for workers in health and social services who work with carers, helping them to become more aware of carers and the kind of information they might need.  After a short test at the end of the module you are awarded with a certificate.

There are currently plans develop a similar module for level 2, and potentially level 3. These modules will also be linked here when they become available.

Before you get started

  • To view the module you will need to have Flash software installed on your computer.
  • It contains video and audio so make sure you have headphones or speakers.  Alternatively, links to download full text transcripts in Word format accompany each of the videos in the module.
  • The module contains a number of reflection and action points. It’s a good idea to have a pen and paper handy so you can make note of these to consider after you finish the module.
