New resources to support Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act
An e-learning module is one of two new resources to support the implementation of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act now available on the Care Council for Wales Hub resource.
The e-learning module is based on the Information and Awareness pack that’s already on the Hub. The module, which was developed by the Care Council in conjunction with the All Wales Academy, Learning Pool and Skills for Justice, is designed to give users an overview of the Act in a clear and simple fashion.
The interactive module, which takes around 40 minutes to complete, looks at the history of the Act, the Act’s parts and principles, the people it affects, as well as the impact it will have on practice.
The second new resource is a guide to materials that support the promotion and development of social enterprises, co-operatives, user-led and third sector organisations. It’s the first resource to be produced from the audit of existing learning materials to support the implementation of the Act.
This resource guide is a work in progress and more materials will be added to it over the coming months.
