Commissioner seeks feedback to tackle ageism across Wales
The Older People’s Commissioner for Wales has launched a campaign to tackle prejudice, inequality and unfair discrimination faced by many older people every day.
As part of her ‘Say NO to Ageism’ campaign, which will challenge the myths and misconceptions about older people and change the way society thinks about growing older, Sarah Rochira wants to hear about any ways in which people may have experienced ageism.
The Commissioner will use the experiences shared with her to develop a collection of case studies that will be used to highlight both the extent and nature of ageism in Wales.
