All change for health service delivery in Tregaron

EXTENSIVE changes are being made to the way health services are delivered in Tregaron and Nerys Lewis has been tasked with managing the change.
For the next nine months Mrs Lewis will be the manager of the Cylch Caron Project, which has received £300,000 in capital funding from the Welsh Government to develop an outline business case for the scheme in Tregaron.

The scheme will bring together social services, health and housing around Tregaron, combining those services currently provided in Tregaron Hospital, Salop House Surgery and Bryntirion Residential Care Home.

Mrs Lewis said: “It’s going to be a challenge, but it is vital that we secure the best standard of integrated healthcare, housing and care services in a rural area like Tregaron.”
