Red Cross needs volunteers in Flintshire
THE British Red Cross urgently needs volunteers for some of its services in the Flintshire. The charity particularly needs people to help with its health and social care services such as Home from Hospital and GOFAL.
Laura Clays, volunteering support officer in North Wales, said: “We find Flintshire a very difficult place to recruit volunteers so we are holding this recruitment day in hope that we will be able to increase the number of volunteers in this county.”
The event is being held at the Daniel Owen Community Centre in Mold on Tuesday, March 13, with drop in sessions from 10am-6.30pm.
On the day potential volunteers will be able to meet all the various staff members from the services in Flintshire and get involved with demonstrations of services such as therapeutic care massages.
