Events to explore workforce resilience to deliver more personalised care
The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) are hosting a series of events for workers in health and social care called ‘Working With Personal Outcomes: What Keeps You Going?’
The events will explore building practice around personal outcomes and what enables you to continue to focus on providing a high level of care. The events also aim to provide time, space and networking opportunities for you to reflect on and share what keeps you enthused and focused and promotes your own wellbeing and that of those you work with.
There will be opportunities to hear how others do this and what tools and resources are available to support the resilience of you, your team and organisation.
Staff development and supervision are critical components and the Institute for Research and Innovation for Social Services (IRISS) will present findings from their recent supervision project at the events.
Outcomes from the day
Increased awareness, knowledge, learning and evidence about:
- ways to help keep enthused and focused at work
- what resilience means for you and your organisation
- resources that can support you
- how others maintain their resilience.
The events are free and run from 10.00am to 3.00pm with lunch and refreshments provided.
