Entries now open for Scotland’s Dementia Awards 2015
Nominations are now open for Scotland’s Dementia Awards 2015 taking place on World Alzheimer’s Day, 24 September in Glasgow.
The Awards are organised in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland, NHS Health Scotland and the Scottish Social Services Council.
The event provides an opportunity for professionals and communities, who are committed to enhancing the health, well being and experience of people with dementia and their families, to have their work recognised and promoted.
The award scheme will help showcase the creativity, innovation and dedication that makes a real difference to the daily lives of people with dementia and their families. It aims to clearly demonstrate how, across Scotland, policy is being sustainably put into best shared practice.
If you work within the health, social care, independent or voluntary sectors in the support of people living with dementia, or if you are involved in education or training relating to this, you are encouraged to get involved.
