IRISS announce AGM and guest speaker details
The Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (IRISS) has announced that their Annual General Meeting will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, 30 October 2014 at St Mungo’s Museum function room, 2 Castle Street, Glasgow.
Angela Morgan, Chief Executive of Includem, has agreed to open the AGM with an address on the subject, What does it mean to be a radical? Includem works to provide specialist intensive support to Scotland’s most vulnerable young people and their families, and in 2012 was voted one of Britain’s 50 New Radicals by Nesta and The Observer.
An informed and inspiring speaker, Angela has a wealth of experience of working in mental health and community care, and has been involved in a range of government policy and implementation groups in children’s services, mental health, and justice.
