Scottish Labour Commission on Care seeks views
The Scottish Labour Party has set up a Commission to examine the quality of care services in Scotland.
The commission is chaired by David Kelly, former Director of West Lothian Community Health and Care Partnership, and its membership is drawn from medical and nursing practice, social work, trades unions, academic institutions, the third sector (including CCPS), the independent sector, local government and the Members of the Scottish Parliament.
The Commission is now at a stage where it wants to hear from civic society, professional and political interests about how to improve the quality of social care in Scotland.
An invitation to participate, and an accompanying questionnaire have been issued by Neil Findlay MSP, Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing. CCPS members are encouraged to respond.
