New briefing for those working with vulnerable children and families
A new briefing for professionals who work with vulnerable children and families called ‘The Role of Schools in Supporting Vulnerable Children and Families’ has just been published.
The briefing was produced by WithScotland in response to over 300 practitioners who said that they required more information and research on this topic.
It draws on research studies to increase awareness of knowledge and information that can help strengthen the responsiveness of practice, particularly within the schools system. The information which is presented highlights the importance of early intervention and a multi-agency approach to identification, assessment and intervention with vulnerable children and families.
