Pentland Hill Nursing Home: Report sent to fiscal

Police investigating four deaths at a private care home have submitted a report to the procurator fiscal.

The development follows a joint investigation by Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) into the deaths at Edinburgh’s Bupa-run Pentland Hill nursing home.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Following a joint initial investigation by Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive into four deaths at the Pentland Hills Care Home, a report has now been sent to the procurator fiscal for consideration.

“Additional inquiries being undertaken by the Care Inspectorate are ongoing.”
