100 new care home jobs for Fife

A new Fife-based care company has said it will create more than 100 jobs. Avenue Care Services will deliver “care-at-home” services ranging from housework to personal care.

The company said employees will be trained before working as social care officers.

Avenue said the care would help people “remain as independent as possible, continue to be involved in their local community and basically afford them the best quality of life”.

The company’s parent organisation is Fife recruitment firm Avenue Scotland.

Its managing director Ian Campbell said: “We have a commitment to employing the right staff who really care for our clients.”
