New domestic abuse scheme launched in Lothians
Police in East and Midlothian have teamed up with the national anti-domestic violence charity White Ribbon Scotland.
They have launched an initiative which will see posters with a strong anti-domestic violence message distributed to pubs and community buildings.
The posters will be backed up by postcards encouraging all men to get involved with the White Ribbon Scotland Campaign to make domestic violence unacceptable.
Detective Inspector Kenny Gray, who is leading the initiative, said: “This initiative is to spread the message that domestic abuse will not be tolerated.”
