New publication on learning with online and mobile technologies

Technology has become a necessary and everyday part of studying and working. Learning with online and mobile technologies: a student survival guide, is a new publication written by Janet Macdonald, Open University and Linda Creanor, Glasgow Caledonian University, which examines effective practice in learning, and shows how technology can support that good practice.

The book combines advice on effective learning with practical tips on using technology successfully to give people a smart approach to accessing, recording, sharing and revising information and knowledge. The guidance applies to learning in higher education or in the workplace.
