Glenrothes Councillor ‘Ashamed’ Over Care Plans
THE political wrangle over the introduction of new home care charges has been ongoing for months but the final decision has now been made.

The issue of the charges has become a hot topic of debate among the Kingdom’s politicians since the announcement last October.
These divisions were particularly evident at a meeting of the social work and health committee last week.
Kay Morrison, Labour councillor for Glenrothes North, Leslie and Markinch, announced she felt “ashamed” to be a Fife councillor and to be associated with the plans.
