Angelika Killer Has Heart Attack
The killer of Polish student Angelika Kluk has had a heart attack in prison. Peter Tobin, 60, who was jailed for life in May for the rape and murder of Miss Kluk in September 2006, was taken ill in Peterhead Prison on Wednesday.
The Scottish Prison Service confirmed a prisoner had been taken to hospital. His condition at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is not known.
The body of Miss Kluk, 23, who was beaten and stabbed to death, was found under the floor of a Glasgow church.
Tobin was ordered to spend at least 21 years in jail when sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh.
After the trial it emerged he had been jailed for 14 years in 1994 for a sex attack on two teenage girls in the Portsmouth area.
