Nazereth Plan New Aberdeen Care Home

An Aberdeen care home is to move to new premises, it was announced yesterday.

The trustees of Nazareth Care Home said they plan to sell the current premises between Union Grove and Claremont Street, and use the funds to build a new home.

They hope to involve the residents, their relatives and staff, by forming them into advisory groups.

The trustees said they were still investigating potential sites for the new home, the architect of which will be Roger Legge of Mackie Ramsay Taylor, from Aberdeen.

Nazareth trustee Anne Cannon said: “We are very excited about the prospect of a new home, with first-class facilities. We have invited residents, staff and relatives to help us with the planning.”
