Belfast seminar to explore community care and the law

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) are hosting a lunchtime seminar on Community Care and the Law on Friday 13 February in Belfast.

The seminar will examine the legislation affecting the provision of community care in Northern Ireland and provide an overview of the rights and entitlements of people with community care needs.

It will also look into the corresponding duties of health & social care staff to assess need and provide services as well as highlighting the implications of recent relevant case law decisions upon social care practice.
