The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) have released a number of statistical publications to update the health and social care sector on the latest available data.

Published today are the following:

  • Publication of the September 2014 Northern Ireland Waiting List Statistics Releases
    The Waiting List Statistics Releases show detailed information on the number of people waiting for a first outpatient appointment, a diagnostic test or inpatient treatment at hospitals in Northern Ireland.
  • Publication of Carers’ Statistics for Northern Ireland (quarter ending 30 September 2014)
    This publication of quarterly figures relates to Carers’ Statistics in Northern Ireland.
  • NI Health & Social Care Inequalities Monitoring System – Regional 2014
    The bulletin provides an up-to-date picture of health inequalities in relation to area differences in morbidity, mortality, utilisation and access to health and social services.
  • Clinical/Social Care Negligence Cases in Northern Ireland (2013/14)
    The statistical bulletin presents information on clinical/social care negligence cases that were open at any stage during the year ending 31 March 2014.
