NI social workers urged to contribute to survey
The Social Work Strategy Team at Health & Social Care in Northern Ireland would like the views of social worker practitioners and managers from across Northern Ireland to inform their project to explore flexible working/extended hours as a means to improving service delivery across Social Work organisations.
The project aims to:
- Undertake a scoping exercise of existing examples of extended hours / flexible working;
- Quantify strengths and weaknesses of existing models;
- Identify regional/ national examples of good practice;
- Develop recommendations and ideas for a pilot.
The survey is available online from: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/swsflexibleworking
The survey closes on 12 October 2014 after which the responses will be analysed and used as an evidence base.
