Registration advice for NQSW’s in Northern Ireland

If you have completed your Honours Degree in Social Work, your NISCC student registration will end and you must transfer to the social work part of the NISCC register.

The transfer form is available to download below and you reminded to ask your course tutor to endorse your application before submitting to the NISCC Registration Team.

This service will shortly be available through the NISCC Online Portal.

As a newly qualified social worker, the NISCC will register you with a condition on your registration that you complete an ‘Assessed Year in Employment’ (AYE).

The AYE is designed to ensure that newly qualified social workers have made the transition from student to employee and have demonstrated sustained, continuous and effective competence in the workplace.
