NISCC announce series of care seminars in Belfast
The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) are hosting a series of free lunchtime seminars highlighting new initiatives, new research and outcomes from reviews that are relevant to social work and social care.
- Tuesday 23 September 2014 – ‘A Model of Reflective Practice for Social Work in Northern Ireland’ – Presented by Prof Stan Houston, Queens University of Belfast
- Tuesday 2 December 2014 – ‘An Exploration of the Roles, Responsibilities and Services Provided by Home Care Workers in a Large Health and Social Care Trust’ – Presented by Dr Kevin Moore, University of Ulster
- Thursday 26 March 2015 – ‘Drinking from the Well: Developing social work practice with service users and carers’ – Presented by Joe Duffy, Queens University of Belfast
The seminars will be held from 12.00-14.00 at the NISCC Office in Belfast.
