Union And HSE To Resume Talks On Jobs Freeze
Officials from IMPACT and the HSE are due back at the Labour Relations Commission today for more talks about controversial recruitment restrictions in the health service.
IMPACT members have been refusing to work overtime for several weeks in protest at the jobs freeze imposed by the HSE last year.
They have also been refusing to cover posts left vacant as a result of the measure, which they say is affecting services to the public.
The two sides held exploratory talks on the matter last week and are due to resume discussions today.
