Digital certification now in place for Northern Ireland’s care sector workforce

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) has announced that Digital Certification is now in place for their 43,000 registrants which include social workers, social work students and social care workers.

As part of the certificate download the NISCC have introduced a digital ‘I’m a registered….’ badge that registrants can download and share with pride on social media and on their email signatures.

Speaking about the innovation and use of technology to support the workforce and create a better customer experience, Director of Registration and Corporate Services, Declan McAllister said: “We are constantly working hard to improve services for our registrants and that means keeping pace with technology and customers’ expectations.

“The new digital certificate makes the process quicker and more reliable for everyone and is a step closer towards our goal of reducing costs and protecting the environment.”
