John Stanley’s Care Agency wins contract for Thurrock & Haverin
John Stanley’s Care Agency, a division of Manorcourt Homecare, has today announced it has been awarded a four-year contract to provide home-based care in the London Borough of Havering and the neighbouring unitary authority of Thurrock.
Following an assessment process, Thurrock and Havering Councils have contracted with the homecare provider to deliver vital services to vulnerable adults in the regions.
Operating from branches in Grays and Hornchurch, John Stanley’s team will provide combined support to almost 600 service users, which totals over 6,000 hours per week of vital care. The support teams ensure experienced carers are on hand, to ensure appropriate levels of support are available to residents throughout the day, including peaks in the morning, lunchtimes and early evening when greater support may be required.
Louise Brosnan, Contract Manager of Thurrock Council said: “Thurrock Council contracts with private care companies, including John Stanley’s Care Agency, to deliver a range of services, including home-based care. These services can be accessed through GPs, Community Nursing staff, hospital ward staff or by contacting the private care companies directly.”
Janice King, Operations Director of Manorcourt Homecare said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded the social care contracts by Havering and Thurrock Councils. Having already won supported living contracts in Colchester, Clacton and Harlow, our experienced team are on hand to provide service users with their daily care routines and will also ensure that when help is needed, a professional is there for them at any time of the day.”
