Coroner slams care home after pensioner died of ‘inexcusable failures’
A coroner criticised Britain’s largest care home provider after a pensioner died as a direct result of ‘inexcusable failures’ at the hands of their staff.
Alan Simper, 84, was admitted to the Swiss Cottage Nursing Home in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, after his wife Mari, 64, could no longer take care of his needs on January 23 last year.
