NSPCC produces CD-ROM resource for keeping children safe in BME communities

The NSPCC has produced a CD-Rom resource to enable trainers and group leaders to take children’s safeguarding to the very heart of black and minority ethnic communities.

It provides an opportunity for participants to share and learn about positive and harmful childcare practices and ways in which children can be kept safe. It is suitable for use with parents, carers, community groups, staff and volunteers working with or in black and minority ethnic communities.

A free copy of the CD-ROM is available to the community and voluntary sector. For statutory agencies such as local authorities, health and education, there is a cost of £30.

Orders can be placed at www.nspcc.org.uk/publications, or by email at [email protected].
