70 jobs at new £3m Halifax care home
WORK is due to begin next month on a £3 million care home in Burnley Road, Todmorden. Asquith Hall will provide nursing and residential care for up to 52 people and create 70 new nursing and ancillary jobs.
“If everything goes according to plan, Asquith Hall should open next spring,” said the deputy chief executive of Care and Support Initiative, Pat Asquith.
The company, which runs nearby Pennine Lodge care home, is also committed to building a home in Wood Square, Boothtown, Halifax.
