Osteopath Guilty Of Sex Assaults

An osteopath has been found guilty of sexually assaulting an undercover policewoman who posed as a patient.

Jurors convicted Owen Bull, 49, of Ipswich, of four sexual offences committed at his premises in the town.

Bull was convicted of attempted rape, indecent assault and sexual assault against other female patients, aged between 30 and 77.

But the jury at Norwich Crown Court cleared Bull of sexually assaulting another patient.

The jury is due to consider its verdict on two further charges of sexual and indecent assault on Friday.

The court heard that the female police officer posed as a patient in 2005 after complaints were made by other people treated by Bull.

The officer used a camera and audio recording equipment hidden in her briefcase as part of the investigation.
