Guidance: Profile of the Adult Care Home Managers in Wales 2016

The Profile of the Adult Care Home Managers in Wales 2016 is now published by the Care Council for Wales (Care Council).

The profile is based on the data about themselves and their employment provided by adult care home managers during the application process to register onto the Care Council for Wales Register of Social Care Workers (the Register) and to maintain their registration with the Care Council.

Registration with the Care Council has been mandatory for adult care home managers working in Wales since 1 October 2011. It is a qualification based register and at 1 June 2016 there were 1,263 managers qualified and registered for this role.
