Shortlist announced for awards recognising Scotland’s leading dementia projects

Scotland’s Dementia Awards, a partnership between Alzheimer Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland (NES), NHS Health Scotland and the SSSC, has announced the finalists for their annual awards which set out to recognise the work of those committed to helping people living with dementia and their families.

The awards celebrate creative approaches, innovation and best practice in all aspects of information, advice, care and support for people living with dementia.

The awards will culminate in a celebration event during World Alzheimer’s Month on 22 September at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel.

Henry Simmons, Chief Executive, at Alzheimer Scotland, said: “Scotland’s Dementia Awards aim to recognise and showcase the vital contribution that professionals and community groups make across the length and breadth of Scotland.
