North Ayrshire exhibition aims to showcase range of care services
Residents in North Ayrshire are encouraged to discover the range of health and social care services in the area by attending an in Irvine today.
The CareNA (Care and Support North Ayrshire) exhibition, hosted by the North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership, aims to showcase the range of care services available to local people.
With over 135 service providers exhibiting, as well as a variety of displays and presentations taking place throughout the day, the event aims to provide plenty of information to local residents and service users on how they can increase their choice and control over services.
Chair of North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Integration Joint Board, Councillor Anthea Dickson, said: “The creation of the North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership has allowed the Council and NHS Ayrshire & Arran teams to work together and improve services for the benefit of our local communities.
“This CareNA event provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the diversity of services available through the Partnership.
“I would encourage anyone who is interested in finding out more – whether it be for themselves, a family member, friend or even their next door neighbour – to come along and speak with some of the fantastic service providers who will be on hand to offer information and advice.”
