A study investigating healthcare professionals’ attitudes in the use of personalised music-listening in Dementia care is calling for contributors.
The Glasgow Caledonian University study aims to establish basic scientific knowledge of the use of personalised music for people with dementia in acute care.
Data from completing the associated questionnaire will be used to evaluate the appropriateness, reliability and validity.
Anybody with previous or current experience of providing care and treatment to individuals with dementia is invited to take part, although you do not require any prior experience of using music in this area.
You will be asked to complete a survey consisting of 28 questions which should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
Individuals will not be identified and names will not be linked to responses. All the personal data collected in the study will be viewed only by the Chief Investigator, kept secure and not passed on to any third parties.
