Report: Care Council for Wales Workforce Development update

The Care Council for Wales have published their latest edition of the Workforce Development report. The report contains information on progress made and identifies future key actions for Workforce Development.

This edition provides updates on our work to;

  • Enable people with recognised social work qualifications who are currently not registered to be able to apply for registration on Part 1 of the Register of Social Care Workers, and enter the social work workforce with up to date knowledge and understanding of contemporary social work practice;
  • Implement the Welsh Language Action Plan within the Early Years and Childcare Sector;
  • Deliver the information resources and learning to support the implementation of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act.
