Survey: Improving healthcare for people living in care homes
An important survey is being launched to help shape future research to improve healthcare for people living in care homes.
Research is essential for developing better ways of providing care, by finding the evidence for practice that improves care. A team from Cardiff University are looking at new ideas for research to improve life and healthcare for those living in care homes, but need the input of people who have direct experience of providing care to make sure they are addressing the right questions to help achieve this.
The research team are looking for questions about care provided on a day-to-day basis for older adults in care homes, which may include supporting and improving their health and wellbeing.
These just need to be a short sentence about something that is important to you, but for which you haven’t been able to find an answer. You can provide as many or as few questions as you wish. Once all the research topics have been received they would like your help to order them in terms of importance or urgency.
You can take part by completing an online survey at the link below.
