SIRCC National Conference 2015 details published

The Scottish Institute for Residential Child Care (SIRCC) have published details of their annual conference and keynote speakers.

The event will take place over two days on June 9 & 10 at Glasgow’s Central Hotel and keynote speakers include Fiona McKenzie from Centrestage and Richard Rollinson from the Planned Environment Therapy Trust.

This years theme, ‘Steps to Success: Supporting quality transitions through and beyond residential child care’, will take delegates through the successes and challenges of transitions for looked after children and young people.

The conference also affords the opportunity to showcase and share good practice with colleagues across local authority, private and voluntary organisations; and to listen to and learn from care experienced young people.
