Spring seminars for Welsh residential childcare workers

The Care Council for Wales (CCW) is to hold two seminars for Residential Child Care Workers – 10 March Cardiff and 12 March 2015 in St Asaph, aimed at residential childcare workers and managers.  

The purpose of the seminars is to build on progress made, to enable looked after children in Wales to have a high quality provision from a professional and competent workforce.

Topics discussed on the day will include:

  • Promoting professionalism
  • Learning and development
  • Discovering young people’s potential – using social pedagogy
  • The Residential child care workers and research
  • Life story work
  • Working together for children
  • Welsh language and culture

Attendance at the seminars will count towards your PRTL.
