Aviemore nursery continues to under-perform
A nursery in Aviemore has been told it must make improvements after the quality of care and support it provided to children was graded ‘weak’ by inspectors.
The Care Inspectorate carried out a high intensity, unannounced inspection of Rosebuds Daycare in the town in September and graded the service weak for quality of care and support provided.
It is the second inspection in a row where this service received this grade.
In their report, inspectors noted that six requirements for improvement made at an earlier inspection had not been met. This included a requirement to ensure personal plans are in place for each child attending the service.
It also included a requirement to review and improve the medication procedures to ensure the health and welfare of children.
A spokesperson for the Care Inspectorate said: “We continue to have concerns about this service and are monitoring them closely to ensure they take action to meet the standards we expect.
“We will be inspecting again soon and if we are not satisfied that improvements are being made quickly on the areas we have highlighted, we will not hesitate to take further action.“
