SSSC in call for supervisors to register

Supervisors in care at home services and supervisors in housing support services can now apply to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Supervisors in these roles can now apply for registration online at MySSSC.

Although registration is not yet mandatory for existing workers, it is important to be aware that any worker new into these posts after 1 July 2014 require to apply for registration as soon as possible and must be registered within six months of commencing employment.
