Call out for partners in service user led event

The Scottish Transitions Forum and Sense Scotland are looking at holding an event in November. They want it to be led and run by people who use services or people with an additional support need who feel they have something to say to decision makers.

They are looking for organisations from across Scotland who wish to be involved and who have an interest in challenging the current Scottish perspective on transitions and additional support needs. They are aware of many organisations that have vocal groups amongst them who have views to express around transitions issues and other areas. They are looking for groups who may be interested to contact them for an initial meeting, scheduled to be held on the 12th of March at 2pm at Touchbase in Glasgow. The meeting will look at format, logistics and planning a way forward to help support these different groups  to come together and lead on this event.

The Scottish Transitions Forum and Sense Scotland welcome representatives from both professionals and representative of the groups itself and will do our best to accomodate all needs in the meeting so please let us know when registering your attendance what they may be. If you are not sure about a way forward for who you may represent in your organisation we can discuss this with you at the meeting as this will be included on the agenda.

Your organisation can register their interest in this event here…
