BASW Scotland reinvents itself as the Scottish Association of Social Work

BASW Scotland has become the Scottish Association of Social Work in response to members’ calls for a stronger identification with our country’s unique social work system.

A similar development took place in Northern Ireland last year when BASW’s devolved entity became the Northern Ireland Association of Social Workers (NIASW – part of BASW).
