Three arrested on suspicion of neglect at Devon care home

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of causing wilful neglect as part of an investigation into a Devon-based care centre for disabled adults.

A 21-year-old man from St Ives, a 58-year-old man from Penzance and a 22-year-old woman from Helston were arrested as part of the investigation into care at the John Daniel Centre for vulnerable adults, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The 58-year-old man remained in police custody following the arrests, while the other two had been released on bail until June 15.
