Children’s Society working to engage fathers
The Children’s Society is calling for evidence from the sector of how fathers can be more practically engaged in their children’s upbringing, as part of its Fatherhood Commission.
The Fatherhood Commission was launched by the Children’s Society in June. It intends to review fathers’ involvement in children’s lives and the ways in which this can affect children’s wellbeing.
As part of the review, the commission has now launched a call for evidence, requesting practical examples of how to get fathers involved in their child’s upbringing.
