Social Justice Minister On North Wales Visits

Minister for Social Justice and Local Government, Dr Brian Gibbons, will be in North Wales this week to undertake a number of fact finding visits across the region.

The Minister will visit a range of projects and community facilities in Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy and Gwynedd talking to key staff about their work to improve the lives of people in Wales.

The visits will focus on a range of issues including the fire service, domestic abuse, young people, substance misuse and Communities First.

Talking about the visits, Dr Gibbons said “I want to get out and about in North Wales to see how these important services are working to improve and protect the lives of people in Wales.

I am always impressed by the commitment and drive of people who provide these services to the public and getting their perspective on a range of issues is invaluable.”
