Recruitment campaign under way from Lucas Love Healthcare

Expanding Northern Ireland nursing and domiciliary agency Lucas Love Healthcare are pursuing an ambitious recruitment initiative, hoping to fill 30 vacancies in 30 days over the month of September.

Having experienced a healthy rate of service growth this year, the company is hoping to welcome a significant amount of new talent to its workforce, being contracted to supply both permanent and temporary staff to more than 20 private healthcare groups.

Speaking at the launch of the 30-day campaign, manager Sinead Polland said: “We are committed to recruiting 30 nurses throughout September – helping local healthcare providers build strong teams to care for some of our most vulnerable and in turn enhancing private healthcare services in the region.

“The campaign is aimed at encouraging all nurses to explore new opportunities; gain experience and better job prospects, obtain flexible working and earn more money. We look forward to meeting new nursing staff and assisting them in developing their career. Our long term aim is to have a team of professional nurses that can enter any environment with ease; meaning that they can deliver the excellent care our clients demand.

“We are also offering our current staff a £50 incentive if they refer a professional colleague, giving our employees the opportunity to benefit from this campaign.”

The provider believes that an ageing population means that a career in the social care sector is something more and more people should consider, with a growing market and high demand offering good long-term job security, flexible contracts and promotion opportunities – although Lucas Love Healthcare also specialises in care for adults with a learning disability or mental health complication.
