IFCA Claim Urgent Need For More Foster Parents

The Irish Foster Care Association has said that there is an urgent need for new foster parents throughout the country.

Several hundred foster parents, children and healthcare workers are attending the association’s annual conference in Carlow today.

The conference also heard that foster parents need more support to carry out their role.

A new training programme for foster parents was launched by the association and the HSE at the conference.
