We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team, working in a fast paced small residential home ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care and support during the night hours.
Key Responsibilities for a Senior Healthcare Assistant:
* Lead the care team to deliver person-centred care.
* Administer medication and manage care plans effectively.
* Provide personal care and emotional support to residents.
* Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, promptly addressing any changes.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of care activities.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment in accordance with care standards.
What We’re Looking For in a Senior Healthcare Assistant:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or a commitment to achieving it).
* Experience in a senior care role, preferably within a residential care setting.
* Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanour.
* Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends.
