Social Worker – CWD – £33.30 – Wolverhampton, West Midlands (County) Contract, Temporary NEW

Looking for a highly experienced Adult Social Worker to join the SEND Family Help Service where we support young adults from 17.5 – 25 whilst they transition from children’s into adult services.

• The role consists of working with a team of adult and children social workers and providing expert advice, supervision and guidance to them.

• Ideal candidate will need to have experience of supervision of less experienced social workers and provide regular supervision, along with mentoring and training to help develop skills within the team.

• Ideal candidate will have experience of managing complex and challenging cases which includes undertaking safeguarding investigations and developing comprehensive care plans.

• Ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of Mental Capacity, Care Act and DoLs assessments and be able to supervise others in the team to undertake these.

• Full time role with flexible working
• 2 office days per month
• Monthly supervision
• Full training given
