Role Overview
As a Training and Development specialist you will play a vital role in developing the skills and knowledge of our care staff. You will be responsible for identifying training needs, creating tailored training plans, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence and the continued professional development of our team.
Role includes:
* Training Delivery: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging training sessions for care staff, including mandatory and specialist training.
* Needs Assessment: Identify individual and team training needs through consultations, observations, and feedback.
* Compliance: Ensure all training aligns with CQC regulations and industry best practices.
* Induction Programs: Oversee the onboarding training for new employees to ensure they are fully equipped to deliver high-quality care.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, staff certifications, and compliance metrics.
* Development Programs: Create and implement development programs to support career progression within the organization.
* Collaboration: Work closely with managers and supervisors to support staff development and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the care sector.
* Education: Relevant qualifications in training (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent) and/or Health and Social Care.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC regulations, care standards, and compliance requirements.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
* Driver’s License: A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required.
