Homelessness Prevention Officer
Location: Aldgate, EC3A
Reporting to: Team Manager
Contract: Hybrid – Full Time (3 days office-based, 2 days from home)
Pay: £14.34 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives and driven to achieve tangible results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Homelessness Prevention Officer to join our outcome-focused project, where achieving specific, measurable targets is critical to both the success of the individuals you support and the overall program. This transformative initiative is dedicated to addressing the housing and integration challenges faced by individuals granted Refugee status. We focus on empowering individuals to rebuild their lives by providing tailored, practical solutions that lead to lasting stability.
About the Service
Working in close partnership with West London local authorities, the service takes a proactive, results-driven approach to supporting individuals transitioning from temporary accommodations or homelessness into secure, long-term housing. Our work is deeply rooted in making a tangible difference through four key areas:
* Personalised Planning: Collaborating with clients to design bespoke housing and integration plans that reflect their aspirations and goals.
* Access to Housing: Supporting individuals to find, secure, and sustain appropriate accommodation.
* Integration and Independence: Facilitating employment opportunities, community connections, and access to essential resources to foster long-term self-reliance.
* Sustained Support: Providing ongoing guidance to ensure tenancy stability and continued progress.
This service is ideal for individuals who are solution-focused, thrive in a target-driven environment, and are motivated by achieving meaningful results. It's an opportunity to be part of a team committed to driving change and creating impactful outcomes for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Your Role as Homelessness Prevention Officer
In this role, you'll manage a busy caseload, supporting clients to access private rented accommodation and achieve lasting, positive outcomes. You'll need to be highly organised, able to balance competing priorities, and skilled at working to clear targets. Your ability to deliver results is essential, as meeting set targets ensures our clients' success.
This role is for someone who thrives on achieving results and understands the importance of delivering on targets. It offers a unique opportunity to combine your skills in problem-solving, organisation, and relationship-building to make a tangible impact. If you are ready to embrace a challenge, deliver measurable outcomes, and be part of a vital project, we'd love to hear from you
